These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your participation in the Grocery Shopper evaluation program ("Program"), operated by Grocery Shopper LLC ("Grocery Shopper," "we," "us," or "our"). By submitting an application or accepting an assignment, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the United States to apply. We may decline any application or assignment at our discretion.

2. Nature of the relationship

Participants are independent contractors, not employees, of Grocery Shopper LLC. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship. You are responsible for your own taxes, including any applicable self-employment tax, on payments received through the Program.

3. No fees, ever

Grocery Shopper never charges application fees, training fees, membership fees, or fees of any kind to participate in the Program. We will never ask you to purchase a "starter kit," software, or any product as a condition of receiving assignments. Any request for payment claiming to be from Grocery Shopper is fraudulent and should be reported immediately.

4. Assignments and reports

Assignments are offered at our discretion based on client demand in your geographic area. There is no guaranteed volume, frequency, or income associated with participation. Each assignment includes specific instructions; you agree to complete visits honestly, accurately, and in accordance with those instructions, and to submit reports, photos, and receipts as requested.

5. Compensation

Compensation for each accepted assignment is disclosed in the assignment brief before you accept it. Payment is made by direct deposit on our posted payment schedule after a submitted report is reviewed and accepted. We do not pay by mailed check, wire transfer, gift card, or cryptocurrency, and we never ask a participant to deposit a check and forward part of the funds to us or a third party.

6. Reimbursements

Where an assignment requires a purchase, the reimbursable amount and any purchase limit will be stated in the assignment brief. Reimbursement requires a valid, itemized receipt submitted with your report.

7. Conduct

You agree not to fabricate observations, misrepresent your identity as a shopper, or share confidential assignment details with store personnel or third parties. Violation of this section may result in removal from the Program and forfeiture of pending compensation for the affected assignment.

8. Termination

Either party may end this relationship at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including tax responsibility and confidentiality) will continue to apply.

9. No guarantees

We make no representation regarding potential earnings. Any statement of possible earnings is illustrative only and not a promise of income.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grocery Shopper LLC's liability arising from your participation in the Program is limited to the amount of compensation owed to you for completed, accepted assignments.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued participation in the Program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Contact and fraud reporting

Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@secretshopper.site. If you believe someone is impersonating Grocery Shopper or attempting to defraud you, report it to report@secretshopper.site and to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
